UPDATE: (August 2008): Thank you all for the kind e-mails of prayers and words of comfort during my mother's unexpected illness. While she is not doing well, all of your thoughts and prayers are truly appreciated.

On August 14, 2008, my mom passed away at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. I was privileged to be by her side during this time.

SunCatchers crystals (the 30mm rounds) and going up dramatically in price. However, I will continue to sell my extensive stock at the old prices. Please pick yours out while these prices last. Many of the SunCatchers currently on my website are now sold, but, I will be making more. The clear crystal sun catchers are extremely limited and hard to find (especially with the Swarovski price increase). If you have a style/color for your own SunCatcher, I would be thrilled to accommodate. I also received some other ideas (from customers) on their use--curtain rods decorations, fan pulls (only as decoration, please do not pull on the crystals), lampshades, and my favorite--a HouseWarming gift.

Swarovski Ultra-Rare FireOpal and Clear AB Crystal Necklace and Earrings

This necklace is composed of the ultra-rare color of FireOpal. It is a combination of Hyacinth on one side and a deep yellow on the other--the picture to the left is accurate and NOT glare !! Swarovski Rose and Clear AB with Rose AB Pendant Hoop Earrings

Swarovski Jonquil(yellow) and Clear Crystal Aurora Borealis Bracelet

This bracelet is composed of Swarovski (article 3219) 2-holed Jonquil (yellow) crystals. I separated them with 8mm jonquil bicones and 4mm clear crystal AB bicones. On each is one 8mm Jonquil Preciosa cube--all new.

My storefront is now complete, but it had to be moved since I now live in a different area of Huntsville. Anyone is welcome to a private viewing (by appointment only). I am fully stocked with a huge assortment for any occasion, along with hoop earrings, lanywards, and id holders for every football/sports team. All items come in a gift box. All of my custom-made jewelry is made from Austrian Swarovski crystals. I can do custom orders with just a few days notice, unless it is a special-ordered crystal. I use only Sterling Silver for my earring components. I generally hand-make my own extenders, however, I do use silver plating for the 3-inch extenders.

My website features vintage and costume jewelry, handmade/homemade crafts (most of which can be personalized upon request), Christmas decorations/ornaments, crochet and needlecraft patterns, and a variety of novelty items. I have tried to make the website fun by adding an assortment of categories, including: custom-made jewelry designs using Swarovski Austrian crystals and/or rare/discontinued lampwork, vintage Designer jewelry from some of the world's most famous designers of the 20th century, "Specials of the Month" will be, of course, sale items or special gifts. Most of my costume jewelry items are one of a kind--some are similar, but no two are made exactly alike.

I offer Gift Certificates for customers who would like to give a gift from my website but wants to recepient to pick it out themselves. Available in any denomination. Simply e-mail Betty@MissBetty.com and I will arrange to e-mail or snail mail the certificate(s).
LAYAWAY is available for a 10% deposit and your item will be held up to 100 days. Of course the 10% will apply towards the purchase price. If you fail to complete the purchase, the 10% will always be available as a store credit, but not refunded as cash.

Shipping Policy: Items are shipped within 1-2 business days from confirmed receipt of payment. Specially ordered items will be delivered on an individual basis. Shipping charges (within the continental United States) for all jewelry items are $4.00 and includes Delivery Confirmation and insurance. I would be glad to combine shipping on multiple purchases and pass the savings directly to you. For non-jewelry and larger items, shipping cost are based upon destination and weight. All items are shipped First Class, US Priority Mail, or Federal Express. Shipping charges (outside the continental United States) are a flat $12.00 fee for shipping and handling.

If you are in a hurry for your purchase, you can always pick up your item(s) and save on shipping cost. For a nominal fee, I can also have your item(s) delivered to you within the metropolitan Huntsville, Alabama area.
